Latest Forecast: Fire Concerns Before Weekend Blast

DENVER (CBS4) – We are watching our first Fall storm system spinning over Utah getting set to change Colorado’s weather as we head into the weekend.
Initially, the storm will create a strong southerly flow over the state getting some fairly strong winds going. As a result, there is a Red Flag Warning in place for Denver south along the I-25 corridor down to Trinidad from noon to 8pm on Friday. This wind will be a warming wind for Denver with the high expected to rise
