Latest Forecast: Cooler With Severe Storms Possible

DENVER (CBS4) – We have a small break in the heat to finish out the weekend. Saturday’s high temperature at DIA was 99 degrees and Sunday will be about 10 degrees cooler with a cold front draped over the eastern plains.
Despite the cold front in place there is still a good flow of moisture pumping up from the south and southwest from the summer monsoon flow. This will help to get thunderstorms going again for Sunday afternoon. There is a chance over all of easte
