Latest Forecast: Cold Wave Pushing In Arctic Air and Snow

DENVER (CBS4) – The combination of a strong moisture packed jet stream, a deep , low pressure trough and cold Arctic air will be making for a wintry change over all of Colorado. The mountains will see plenty of snow and at time it will be heavy: 1-2″ per hour rates and at times approaching 3″ an hour.
In Denver the highs will go down in the record books as being in the 40s…but they occurred very early min the morning just before the cold air moved in &
