Latest Forecast: A Hot Start To The Week With Late Day Storms

DENVER (CBS4) – Temperatures for the first few days of the week ahead will be on the hot side with upper 80s to near 90 degrees through mid-week. There are two weather features we will be dealing with to start the week. It does seem like the Southwest Monsoon (annual reversal of wind flow over the southwest) is beginning to come alive. This will keep moisture streaming up from Mexico into the southern Rocky Mountain region.
