Large Marijuana Growing Operation Found In Colorado Forest

TRINIDAD, Colo. (AP) — Colorado authorities say they removed more than 11,700 marijuana plants that were part of an illegal growing operation in the San Isabel National Forest.
The U.S. Forest Service said Thursday that hunters discovered the grow site about 40 northwest of Trinidad in southern Colorado. Authorities also removed an irrigation pipe, pesticides, flammable liquids, and camping gear near the site.
Two men at the site were arrested but have not been identified.
