Lafayette biker Dennis Tye writes book to 'set the record straight'
The 1962, 650 BSA required a kick-start that was nearly impossible for a scrawny, 100-pound teen. "It was my brother's bike and the deal was, 'if you can start it, you can ride it,' " Dennis Tye said. Now, 50 years, 10 bikes and hundreds of thousands of miles later, Tye, 65, is sharing the euphoria he feels on the roadin his new book "The Last Ride."
