Johnstown Physician Investigated For Surgical Mistakes

JOHNSTOWN, Colo. (CBS4)– A physician in Johnstown is under investigation for failing to report mistakes made during surgeries.The state medical board claims spinal surgeon, Dr. Kenneth Pettine, made mistakes with spine implants. (credit: CBS)
The mistakes happened three times. Pettine took notes admitting the mistakes and correcting them but then never reported them to the board.Pettine stopped practicing. Investigators conducted a search at his office on Thursday.
