Jefferson County Reports Its First Case Of West Nile Virus In A Human

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – Another person has gotten sick with West Nile virus in Colorado.
The latest case comes out of Jefferson County. It’s the first human case reported in Jefferson County this year.
Health officials say the patient is now recovering at home.
At least 21 people have gotten West Nile in Colorado this season and that number is expected to go up.
Cases have been reported in several counties including Boulder, Adams, Denver and Larimer counties.
