Is Vernon Davis’s Breakout Game Coming Soon?

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (The Sports Xchange) – Recently acquired tight end Vernon Davis continues to turn heads in Denver Broncos practices, although he has been unable to translate his progress to work in games.
It’s not for a lack of trying, however. Quarterback Peyton Manning’s first attempt Sunday was to throw to Davis running a deep post route, but the ball floated and was intercepted, kick-starting the Chiefs to their 29-13 romp.
