Hundreds Compete: It’s A ‘Privilege To Be In The Special Olympics’

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (CBS4) – A state-wide Special Olympics competition wrapped up on Highlands Ranch on Sunday.
Hundreds of athletes from across Colorado took part in the weekend events and CBS4’s Kelly Werthmann met some of the excited competitors.
While the world was busy watching Olympians compete in Rio, Colorado families were supporting some very special athletes giving their all in Highlands Ranch.
