Homeless man wields ax, plus more police notes from Longmont

Police notes from the weekend as reported by Longmont Times Call:A homeless man threatened another man with a large ax on the 2200 block of Main street Friday. One man was taken into custody and transported to the Boulder County Jail.
A woman was bitten in the face by a dog while in the dog owner’s home Friday. The dog owner was issued a summons and the dog was quarantined. The victim was transported to Longmont United Hospital.
