Holiday Shopping Trends Changing Across Colorado

DENVER (CBS4)– Holiday shopping trends may be changing this year. Colorado’s Retail Council says some of the state’s retailers are backing off from opening on the Thanksgiving holiday, while others are reducing the hours they’re open.
Earlier this fall, REI announced it would be closed both Thanksgiving and the day after. The announcement received massive amounts of publicity.(credit: CBS)
