Hickenlooper Rappels Down High-Rise For Charity

DENVER (CBS4/AP) — Colorado’s governor rappelled down a high-rise apartment building for charity on Thursday.

Gov. John Hickenlooper descended down the 32-floor building in downtown Denver Thursday afternoon to raise awareness for the Cancer League of Colorado.The Democratic governor had never rappelled down a building before.

Hickenlooper started on the roof and descended 380 feet unassisted to the sidewalk below. He made it to the ground safely.
