Heritage College Refund Checks To Students Bounce

DENVER (CBS4)– With the sudden closure of Heritage College at 47th and Harlan and around the country earlier this month, it did more than leave students and staff out in the cold.
Dawn Brown of Thornton was close to getting her degree in aesthetics. She had received a check from Heritage for more than $1,000 that she thought was due her, she says the check bounced.
