Halfway House Client Wanted For Attempted Murder After Assaulting Staff Member

ALAMOSA, Colo. (CBS4) – A corrections staff member was assaulted by a client early Thursday morning at the San Luis Valley Community Corrections halfway house.
The staff member was doing a routine bed check and a head count when the shower was heard running. The individual went to check on the shower and found it empty, then was attacked from behind.
The attacker, identified as Matthew Gray, 42, held a towel over the staff member’s face in an attempt to choke the person.  T
