Hail Was ‘Like Somebody Beating On Our Roof’

CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (CBS4) – Residents in the Founders Village neighborhood in Castle Rock have dealt with their fair share of hailstorms, but many told CBS4 Friday’s storm brought the most extreme hail they’ve seen.
The storm left behind a mess for homeowners, such as Cliff Hancock. Hailstones knocked out the back windows of three of his cars, his house’s roof was damaged and he’ll need to replace a window pane on the second floor of the home.
