Gunfire Rings Out As Deputy Serves Eviction Notice

ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) – A Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputy was apparently shot at while serving an eviction in Arvada late Tuesday afternoon.
It happened just before 5 p.m. at 5955 Garrison Street, not far from the Arvada Square Shopping Center. According to the sheriff’s department’s Twitter page, the deputy was not hurt but the officer fired back at the suspect, who barricaded himself or herself inside the home after the exchange.
