Guide To Properly Displaying The American Flag
DENVER (CBS4) – The federal government has released an online guide to displaying the American flag for the 4th of July holiday.
Each year around Independence Day, USA.gov reminds citizens how to correctly display Old Glory, according to official rules from the Federal Flag Code.
First is timing. The flag can be displayed from sunrise to sunset, and if you’d like to keep it up after dark, it must be lit.
