Grass Fire Spreading Near C-470 & Bowles Avenue In Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNY, Colo. (CBS4) – Firefighters were called to battle a grass fire in unincorporated Jefferson County near Morrison Wednesday afternoon.
The fire broke out near C-470 and Bowles Avenue just after 3 p.m. A Colorado Department of Transportation camera showed the fire was spreading from near C-470 up a hillside.
The size of the fire isn’t clear but no structures are currently threatened.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says to travelers should expect major delay
