Grass Fire Burns Close To Homes In Loveland
LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4)– A grass fire burning in Loveland was threatening homes in the area. Crews were able to quickly contain the fire on Thursday afternoon.
The grass fire is now 100% contained.
— Loveland Fire Rescue (@LovelandFRA) July 7, 2016Loveland Fire Rescue said crews were responding to the grass fire on County Road 29 just after 2 p.m. The fire has burned about three acres.
Some people living in the area left their homes voluntarily but a formal evacuation was not ordered.
