Grass Fire Breaks Out In Windy Conditions In Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Colo. (CBS4) – Just before noon Friday several fire departments responded to a grass fire that was putting out a smoke in Louisville.

It took firefighters about 40 minutes to get the fire under control. It burned approximately 5 acres on Campus Drive east of Monarch High School.
Emergency crews had to close 96th Street for about an hour between Dillon Road and Northwest Parkway while they fought the fire.
