Grand Jury Indictment: Couple Was Speeding, Arguing Before Deadly Crash

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)– Months after police believed a distracted driver caused a deadly crash in Lakewood, a grand jury says both the driver and passenger were to blame.
Police initially said Andrew Huerena, the driver of a Ford Focus, became distracted while driving on 6th Avenue when his passenger, Alisha Huerena, was changing the radio station. Officers believed the vehicle hit a bump in the road which caused the passenger’s hand to hit the steering wheel.
