Girl Fighting Leukemia Gets Special Gift After Backpack Stolen

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)– Police in Lakewood stepped up to help after a little girl’s backpack was stolen. It wasn’t the backpack, but what was inside that was important.
On Aug. 22 the backpack was stolen out of a vehicle. The backpack belongs to 7-year-old Taylor who is suffering from Leukemia. The backpack was her “go bag” that she took with her when she would go to the hospital. It’s filled with items that comfort her.When police heard about what happened to
