Gillon Leads Colorado State Past Air Force 87-73

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — John Gillon scored 11 of his 22 points during a pivotal second-half run and Colorado State beat Air Force 87-73 on Saturday in a regular-season finale.
Gillon hit three 3-pointers and scored 11 points during a 23-2 run that put the Rams (16-15, 8-10 Mountain West) up 54-39 with 10 minutes remaining.
The Falcons (14-17, 5-13) made two 3-pointers to end the run but the Rams immediately went back up by double figures for good.
