Giant Fish Fossil Found In Comanche National Grassland

SPRINGFIELD, Colo. (CBS4) – A rare fossil found in Colorado is headed to the Denver Museum Of Nature & Science.

The ancient fish fossil was found recently at the Comanche National Grasslands, according to a tweet from the managers of the grassland. It is 8 feet long with a tail like a tuna and in its day, the fish would have weighed more than 500 pounds.
