Fresh Snow, Stuck Cars Cause Problems On Independence Pass
ASPEN, Colo. (CBS4) – Fresh snow drifts, some as high as three feet, forced road crews to close Independence Pass for a few hours Friday morning.
Several vehicles became stuck and a Colorado Department of Transportation snowplow went off the highway into a ditch.
CDOT spokeswoman Tracy Truelove told CBS4 more plows were headed up the pass to help rescue those drivers. She said there were no injuries reported.
