Fort Carson soldier dies in training accident

A soldier at the U.S. Army’s Fort Carson died in an accident during a training exercise early Wednesday.
The soldier’s name is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin. The accident is under investigation, said Dani Johnson, Fort Carson spokeswoman.
The accident happened at about 2:30 a.m.
