Former Senator Gary Hart To Defend Iran Deal

DENVER (AP) — Former Colorado Senator Gary Hart is trying to give cover to the state’s current senior senator to support the Iran deal.
Hart and a veterans group will hold a Wednesday press conference urging support for the nuclear deal with Iran. The unstated target is Sen. Michael Bennet, one of the few remaining Democratic senators who hasn’t said whether he’d back the agreement in Congress.
