Forest Fire Burning Unchecked In Northern Colorado

WALDEN, Colo. (CBS4)– A forest fire continued to burn unchecked Tuesday in the Routt National Forest in Northern Colorado.
The Beaver Creek Fire has been burning three miles south of the Colorado-Wyoming state line since about noon on Sunday. The fire has burned about 785 acres and moving northeast toward the Wyoming state line.

There are about 50 firefighters battling the blaze which is fueled by hot, dry and breezy conditions.
