Firefighters Save Dog From Burning Home

DENVER (CBS4)– Firefighters in Denver saved a golden retriever from a burning home on Friday.
Flames broke out in the basement of a house on East Amherst Avenue. When crews arrived they got the fire under control.

Firefighters gave the dog oxygen for smoke inhalation. No one else was hurt in the fire.
Veterinarians checked out the dog and said the animal is doing well.
