Firefighters Rescue Fawns From Blaze
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (CBS4) – Firefighters rescued two baby deer in the midst of a wildfire in Arizona.
The flames from the 25,000-acre Goodwin Fire separated the fawns from their mother.
Fortunately, a hot shot crew found them and carried the animals to where they could reunite with mom.
The cause of the fire burning in the Prescott National Forest is unknown.
It is nearly 50 percent contained.
