Fire Destroys Brighton Tavern, 1 Firefighter Hurt

BRIGHTON, Colo. (CBS4)– Firefighters rushed to battle a fire that destroyed the Brighton Tavern early Saturday morning. One firefighter was hurt in the battle.
The fire at 245 S. Main Street in Brighton was reported by a passerby after 3 a.m.
The bar had closed at 1 a.m. There was no one inside when firefighters arrived.
Flames reached 20 feet in the air. There were no reports of any damage at nearby businesses.
