Fire At Thornton Apartment Complex Displace More Than 20 Residents

THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) – More than 20 people are out of their homes after a fire burned through an apartment building in Thornton Sunday morning.
At one point witnesses saw flames shooting up through the roof. A Westminster Fire lieutenant said the fire was able to get a good head start because there’s a lot of void space in the attic and that allowed the fire to travel from unit to unit.
