Fewer Storms For Sunday

DENVER (CBS4) – What a soggy start to our holiday weekend. Early rain showers and thunderstorms delivered quite a soaking across the front range. Some areas picked up a tenth to a little over a quarter of an inch of rain on Saturday.
Severe weather has been a problem over southeastern Colorado. In fact, a few of the storms over Las Animas county dropped golf ball to ping-pong ball size hail between Walsenburg and Kim.
