Family Has Habit Of Getting Help From Firefighters When Giving Birth

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – An Aurora fire crew didn’t have to go far for a 911 call last weekend. A pregnant woman was on the verge of delivering her baby on the lawn outside Fire Station No. 7. And there’s an odd twist to the special delivery.
Nicole Web-Phillips, 23, and her mother were on their way to the hospital when they had to pull over at the local fire station. The baby was coming. Firefighter Zac Varela says the crew was sound asleep at 4 a.m. Sunday.
