Evacuations Ordered As Firefighters Battle Grass Fire South Of Highlands Ranch
HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (CBS4) – A grass fire broke out in Douglas County in dry Front Range conditions early Friday afternoon. People living in the area were ordered to evacuate as the fire threatened structures.

The fire, dubbed the Chatridge Fire, had burned at least 205 acres by 3 p.m. after it ignited south of Highlands Ranch in Douglas County. Some large homes were near the burn area.
