Driver Who Clipped Deputy On I-70 Turns Himself In

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – The Colorado State Patrol has identified the driver involved in a deputy hit and run Wednesday night.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Sheila Kirin, 35, was directing traffic on Interstate 70 near the Chief Hosa exit amid a snowstorm Wednesday night. She was clipped by a gold hatchback vehicle and taken to the hospital where she was treated for a broken wrist.
