Driver Strikes, Seriously Injures Pedestrian

DENVER (CBS4) – A man was seriously hurt early Friday morning in Denver when a car hit him.

The incident happened at Federal Boulevard and Jewell Avenue and forced police to shut down the intersection for several hours. The area has since reopened.

Officers say the driver stayed on scene and is cooperating.
