Driver From Colorado Accused Of Hitting 2 Construction Workers In Nebraska

PAXTON, Neb. (AP) – An 18-year-old driver from Colorado has been accused of hitting two construction workers on Interstate 80 in western Nebraska.
The Nebraska State Patrol says Joe Marcos O’Connor Zubaite, of Hesperus, Colorado, was taken to Lincoln County Jail following the Wednesday afternoon crash near Paxton. He faces charges of reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident. Court records do not list an attorney.
