Dog Shot During Robbery Struggling To Survive

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – A dog that was shot during a robbery is struggling to survive.
The robbery happened about 8:30 p.m. Thursday near the Colorado Springs downtown neighborhood on East Vermijo Avenue.
During the break-in, the homeowner was not hurt but the robber shot one of the two dogs at the home before running away.

Once police arrived they searched for the robber but were not able to find him.
