Disaster Strikes But Broncos Still Lead Lions 14-12 After 3rd Quarter

DETROIT (CBS4) -The Denver Broncos lead the Detroit Lions 14-12 at Ford Field in Detroit after three quarters.
The Broncos had a disaster on the first drive of the second half. On a third and five Peyton Manning completed a pass to Demaryius Thomas who was getting tackled right at the first down marker. While Thomas was going down to the ground he stretched the ball out in an attempt to get the first down but lost the ball and the Lions picked it up and ran it back for a touchdown
