DIA Goes Dark On Some Of Its Art

DENVER (CBS4) – Some lights are going out at Denver International Airport for a good cause.

The airport is turning off the lights on both the blue mustang statue’s red eyes and the new Shadow Array exhibit at the A Line commuter train stop.
It’s DIA’s fifth year joining the annual Earth Hour, which is aimed at highlighting the importance of sustainable energy.
Things go dark from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. and airport operations won’t be affected.
