Despite Cold, Thousands Watch Fireworks In Denver
DENVER (CBS4) – The cold didn’t stop Denverites from ringing in the new year in style in downtown Denver overnight.
Thousands of people packed the 16th Street Mall for fireworks at 9 a.m. and then again at midnight.

Temperatures were well below freezing, but that didn’t put a damper on the celebration.
While the show is a highlight for many, the night goes beyond the twinkling lights. It’s about reflection, and looking back at all that 2015 brought with it.
