Deputy Injured While Investigating Vehicle Break-Ins

GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) – A Jefferson County sheriff’s deputy suffered minor injuries after he was hit by a car while investigating vehicle break-ins.
Deputies spotted a Jeep Wrangler that fit a description Saturday night and when they tried to stop it, another vehicle rammed into a patrol car.
The deputies were trying to arrest the suspect that rammed their vehicle when the Jeep returned and hit a deputy, causing minor injuries.
