Denver’s Martin Luther King Jr. Marade gets underway in wintry conditions

A blanket of snow rolled in overnight but that has not kept supporters and activists from meeting and marching Monday morning in Denver’s 31st annual Martin Luther King Jr. Marade.
A winter storm hit the city and crews were busy in the early morning hours Monday working to keep the paths clear of snow. City plows have been going down Colfax Avenue, which is the main section of the Marade.
