Denver Public Schools Superintendent Taking 6 Months Leave

DENVER (CBS4)– The superintendent of Denver Public Schools will be taking a six month leave beginning in January 2016. The leave will be unpaid.DPS Superintendent Tom Boasberg will take the leave to spend time with his family, according to a DPS statement. He will resume his duties in July 2016.
DPS released this statement about Boasberg’s leave of absence: “We believe it is a sign of the health of our district that, with such a strong team and dedicated school board, we can gr
