Denver metro area could see a cold weekend followed by another warm week

The Denver metro area is expected to feel a cold snap over the weekend but temperatures should heat back up next week.
“It’s cooling down through Sunday, but then Monday it’ll begin to warm again. But we’re only expected to get up to the 60s come Friday,” National Weather Service spokeswoman Natalie Gusack said. “We’re not looking at another 80-degree record-breaking day.”
