Deliberations Continue For Former Albuquerque School Exec

DENVER (AP) — A Denver jury on Friday finished its first full day deliberating the fate of a former educator accused of sexually abusing two boys whose hiring led to the resignation of Albuquerque’s school superintendent.
Jurors are scheduled to resume their deliberations on Monday in the case against Jason Martinez. He was arrested in the sex abuse case in 2013 and later hired in Albuquerque, which never completed a background check on him.
