DA: Officers Justified In Shooting Man In Evans

EVANS, Colo. (AP) – Three officers who shot and killed an armed man in Evans won’t face criminal charges.
In a decision released Wednesday, District Attorney Michael Rourke says the officers were justified in shooting 37-year-old Luke Miller of Wheat Ridge on Feb. 25 to protect themselves.According to a summary of the investigation released by the district attorney, Miller fired at an Evans officer who had ordered him to stop.
