Crews Battling 80-Acre Brush Fire Near Agate In Elbert County

ELBERT COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – Firefighters are battling a brush fire that broke out Tuesday in Elbert County.
The fire is burning near the town of Agate and is estimated at 80 acres just off Interstate 70 and County Road 162.

According to Elbert County Sheriff Shayne Heap, the fire is 30 percent contained and one structure is threatened.
Multiple agencies are working the fire.
